What is the minimum rental contract?

For self-drive hire, the minimum is 1 day. However, if the hire is on Saturday, it will be a minimum of 2 days. As for PCO, the minimum contract is for 6 weeks. This includes 2 week's notice.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We accept all forms of payment. This includes bank transfers, cash payments, cryptocurrency, and card payments.

Please note: Card payments may incur costs.

Do you provide insurance?

We provide fully comprehensive self-drive and PCO insurance. Kuick Cars would also like to state that you must meet the insurance requirements. If you do not meet the insurance requirements, we refuse to hire you the vehicle.

Can I rent without insurance?

You can indeed rent without our insurance. However we require full authorisation to speak on your behalf to your insurance company. We also need everything to be verified when completing your own insurance.

What is the insurance excess?

The insurance excess is dependant on the vehicle. There is a huge range of vehicles. Please do ask before renting the vehicle.

What happens if I have an accident or need roadside assistance?

If there is a case of an accident, it is essential that you report back to Kuick Cars Ltd immediately. Please take footage of everything as soon as the accident happens. Kuick Cars are very experienced when it comes to accidents and know how to deal with it best. When there is an accident, it is essential to obtain all the details from the third party.

Does my weekly rental price include servicing and insurance?

Absolutely. Servicing, PHV licensing, insurance, and all maintenance is covered with Kuick Cars. However, wear and tear lies with the driver, and the hirer is responsible.

Credit check: what if I have a bad credit score?

This is rarely a problem. We are more interested in your present than your past.

What is the minimum age?

Accepted Answer

You must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 3 years, and the minimum age for most of our cars is 25. Some of them are 30. Discretion is advised.

What is the minimum experience required?

• Living in London for 1 year or more
• Must currently live in London
• Have a good level of English

For the Mercedes-Benz V Class: Uber XL/7 seater experience needed.

For the Lamborghini Urus: minimum 1 year’s PCO experience.

What if I have points on my licence?

Normally we can accept up to 6 points on your licence. However, certain convictions such as IN10s cannot be accepted onto our scheme.

We recommend you call us before visiting if you have any major convictions.

Do I have to work with Uber to rent from Kuick Cars?

No, you're more than welcome to use other companies with our cars.

What if I have had an accident in the past?

Unfortunately if you've had two or more fault accidents in the past two years, we won't be able to accept you.

Is there a mileage restriction?

There is a mileage restriction of 100 miles per day.

What is delivery mileage?

Delivery mileage is the mileage that we charge the hirer for delivering the vehicle to the location that they want.

What are the excess mileage charges?

• Mileage cap 40,000 miles/year = 800 miles/week
• Excess mileage costs per week over the above cap
• £0.20p per mile

Is there an administration charge for PCNs?

Due to the amount of time and effort it takes to transfer liability, there is a small charge of £20. This is significantly lower than most of our competitors.
